Wales has launched its first dedicated women’s health hubs, bringing menopause, contraception, and menstrual health services into communities through both in-person and virtual models.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is piloting its first hub at Padarn Surgery in Aberystwyth.
Sarah Murphy, the Minister with responsibility for women’s health, said: "Women’s health hubs will make it easier for women in Wales to get care when they need it and bring that care closer to home.
He said: "We are looking forward to developing seven women’s health hubs based around our seven GP clusters across the Hywel Dda area.
Dr Helen Munro, clinical lead for the National Strategic Network for Women’s Health, said the hubs reflect a shift in the delivery of women’s health services.
