Owner’s disbelief as dogs seized and kept in kennels over ‘malicious’ XL Bully reportsThe dogs have been in police kennels since OctoberView 3 Images Tia Bradley's four dogs (Image: Tia Bradley)A Nottinghamshire dog owner has been left in disbelief after her three dogs were confiscated by the police following 'malicious' claims they were XL Bullies.
Tia Bradley, 25, was at work when she received a call from her partner that three of her four dogs were going to be seized by officers.
Arriving home in Hucknall, Ms Bradley said she found her house surrounded by 12 police officers who attended the address in multiple cars, leaving her scared and intimidated.
Ms Bradley said: “Zeke’s quite nervous so he barked a bit [when he was seized] but I managed to distract him with a toy.
Ms Bradley explained that the contact with the kennels has been indirect and made through her solicitors, adding “police haven’t been exactly helpful”.
