Ajit Pawar’s mortal remains have been kept at the Vidya Pratishtan ground to enable people to pay their final respects. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and several senior political leaders are scheduled to attend the funeral ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are also expected to be present at the last rites of the Deputy Chief Minister.
