Chris Esposito recorded one goal and three assists to power Freehold Boro-Raritan-Colts Neck to a 4-3 victory over Southern at Winding River Park in Toms River. Slugocke opened the scoring in the first period with assists from Chris Esposito and Sal Esposito, giving Freehold Boro an early 1-0 lead. Freehold Boro extended its advantage to 3-1 in the second period with Slugocke’s second goal and Shapiro’s tally, both assisted by Esposito. Southern (6-11-2) mounted a late rally behind Santino Vilardi, who scored twice in the third period, including a shorthanded goal. Freehold Borough goalie Kyle Taylor made 30 saves on 33 shots, while Southern’s William Evans stopped 39 of 43 shots.
