A benefit concert featuring renowned rock musicians will be held Friday Jan. 30 at First Avenue in Minneapolis to raise money for two families affected by recent ICE enforcement actions, Rolling Stone reported.
The Concert of Solidarity & Resistance to Defend Minnesota was announced Wednesday by former Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello.
Good, 37, was shot and killed by an ICE agent on Jan. 7 in Minneapolis.
“If it looks like fascism, sounds like fascism, acts like fascism, dresses like fascism, talks like fascism, kills like fascism and lies like fascism, boys & girls, it’s f------ fascism,” Morello wrote in an Instagram post.
“We are coming to Minneapolis, where the people have heroically stood up against ICE, stood up against Trump, stood up against this terrible rising tide of state terror,” Morello noted.
