But didn’t back down at all Wednesday night from his demand that federal immigration agents leave Minneapolis. He said Walz, the Democratic governor, should have cooperated with federal immigration officials to help identify targets for deportation. Engen acknowledged the role federal immigration agents have played in some clashes.
