At its Dec. 9 meeting, the Town Council reviewed a first draft of the proposed law dictating how private lots must portray their paid parking programs. A municipality in Colorado regulating paid parking in private parking lots is relatively rare. The Avon Town Council is now set to make a final decision on the private parking lot special business license during its Feb. 10 meeting. There is no form of dispute reporting in the private paid parking regulations in Denver, on which Avon is modeling its ordinance.
