FARGO — A Fargo woman announced her candidacy on Wednesday, Jan. 28, for the North Dakota State House in Fargo’s District 11, a central and near-south area of the city.
ADVERTISEMENTAlso on Wednesday, Rep. Gretchen Dobervich, D-Fargo, who serves District 11, announced she will not seek reelection.
Andrianova said she’s seeking the District 11 seat because people deserve someone who will listen, show up and fight for their neighbors.
Originally from Ukraine, she is a professor of English at North Dakota State University, where she served as Faculty Senate President.
A month later, the NDSU Faculty Senate opted to rescind the request for the no-confidence vote on Cook.
