A cooling weather pattern arriving during the second half of February, however, could bring much needed relief to the state’s record-low snowpack. The storm is expected to bring 3-8 inches of snow to the mountains, falling mostly near or on Steamboat. Other northern mountains — like Vail, Breckenridge, Copper and Keystone — will likely be on the lower end for any snowfall.
