The impromptu ceremony took place during the Crossover Praise Festival, a celebration hosted by Liberian gospel musician Ambassador Miracle Kettor at the Sports Commission in Central Monrovia. Mr. Tweh was presented with a sash in the colors of the Liberian flag, traditional fabric, and the country’s seal. During the Crossover service, praise and worship were offered to God with celebration, speaking in tongues, and spiritual pronouncements and declarations over Liberia. For her part, Ambassador Kettor urged Liberians to always praise God, who, she said, has continued to sustain them over the years, allowing them to cross into 2026. God has been so good to you and has continued to show mercy despite challenges in worshipping Him in truth and spirit.
