SPRINGFIELD — There aren’t many better feelings for a high school senior than winning on Senior Night. And that’s exactly what the Springfield International Charter School girls basketball team did against Pioneer Valley Christian Academy on Wednesday, earning a win, 33-28. SICS took an early advantage, but a second quarter lapse left the Bulldogs down 22-13 entering the locker room at halftime. She went down with an injury early on in the game — but provided some good minutes for the team early on. The senior made a three-point shot from the left wing to take the lead with three minutes remaining in the game.
