Federal prosecutors have informed a judge and defense lawyers that the FBI this week obtained video footage from the adjacent Fora Health building that captured “partial views” of the Border Patrol shooting of two people in a medical office parking lot in Southeast Portland earlier this month. The FBI received the videos from Fora Health on Monday afternoon in response to the FBI’s subpoena. The FBI had previously said in court papers that it found no surveillance video or body camera videos that captured the shooting. The shooting occurred after six Border Patrol agents cornered the couple’s red Toyota Tacoma truck about 2 p.m. in the medical building parking lot. One Border Patrol agent fired twice into the driver’s window of the truck when Niño-Moncada rammed into an empty Border Patrol rental car stopped behind his pickup, according to Edmonds.
