Concord Hospitality, the award-winning hotel management and development company managing over 150 hotels and 35 independent bar and restaurant outlets across North America, welcomes Robert Hannigan as the general manager of The Beckworth, a new luxury lifestyle hotel in Charlotte slated to open in 2026. The Beckworth is an adaptive-reuse project located in Uptown Charlotte’s historic Johnston Building, a neoclassical office tower designed by architect William Lee Stoddart. In his new role, Hannigan is working closely with project partners to ensure every aspect of the hotel aligns with his vision of making The Beckworth the place to be. Additionally, Hannigan will recruit and build a team of associates who will undergo extensive training in preparation for the hotel’s 2026 opening. Hannigan also spent more than a decade with Kimpton Hotels, overseeing properties in cities including Los Angeles, Portland, and Alexandria.
