View 2 Images Todd Monken has been hired as the Cleveland Browns' next head coach (Image: Getty Images)Back in 2023, Schwartz secured the Browns’ defensive coordinator position following two seasons as a defensive assistant with the Titans. ‌Prior to that, he served as head coach with the Detroit Lions for five seasons and boasts 17 years of defensive coordinator experience with the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee and Cleveland. Monken, meanwhile, hopped around the NFL and college football before settling in as Ravens offensive coordinator the past two seasons. Earlier on in his career, the 59-year-old served as Southern Mississippi head coach, Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator, Browns offensive coordinator and Georgia offensive coordinator.
