Uniting NSW.ACT has received approval for a major redevelopment project at its Waverley Estate in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

“The over-75 population is the fastest-growing age group in New South Wales, yet seniors housing remains significantly undersupplied across the state,” Mrs Burton said.
Uniting NSW.ACT also intends to include an intergenerational playground, sensory gardens and social courtyards, while four heritage-listed cottages will be returned to their original use.
Uniting NSW.ACT noted there would be no changes made to the War Memorial Hospital and that construction will be staged to allow for uninterrupted operation of the hospital and other essential services.
