Rev Your Engine for WheelMatesDeveloper FireVolt has officially announced that WheelMates, its cooperative adventure starring tiny RC cars, is targeting a 2026 release window. The game will be coming out on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Set inside the sprawling home of an eccentric and mysteriously absent scientist, WheelMates invites two players to explore a strange household filled with secrets. Despite their small size, the RC cars are equipped with experimental gadgets that expand how players interact with the environment. Drawing inspiration from Metroidvania design, WheelMates encourages backtracking, rewarding players with newly accessible areas and solutions as they unlock additional abilities.
