PHOENIX — Impairment is believed to be a factor in a Phoenix collision that left a woman dead on Tuesday morning, authorities said. According to police, officers responded to the area of 35th and Northern avenues for a two-vehicle collision around 6:53 a.m. The Phoenix Fire Department also responded and took the male driver of the first vehicle to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. In addition, the adult man driving the second vehicle was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the fatal Phoenix collision is ongoing.
