The Sindh education department has imposed a complete ban on the use of private school premises for residential or commercial purposes, intensifying regulatory oversight across the province. According to officials, private school buildings must now be used strictly for educational activities. Authorities have declared the establishment of shops or residential units within school premises a serious violation of the law. In case of any accident on school premises, full legal responsibility will rest with the school administration. The Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions directed schools to ensure full compliance with fire prevention measures.
