Seescape’s Visions of Hope: 160 Years has been put forward for a Smiley Charity Film Award, which shines a spotlight on films created by charities that change lives. The film was created with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to mark the charity's anniversary and tell the story of sight loss in Fife since 1865. It captures the voices, memories, and experiences of local people with sight loss, and the evolution of sight loss support. Seescape’s operations manager Gemma Dickson said: “The Smiley Charity Film Awards give us a really important platform to tell the stories of sight loss in Fife and boost understanding of living with sight loss.
