Local pizza chain Pizza-BOX has reportedly closed its final remaining store in Hong Kong. The closure was first flagged on social media by a customer on Monday (26 January), who noted that the last outlet in Kwun Tong had not opened. A garage owner near the Kwun Tong shop told the media that the branch had already been closed since 22 January, with a shutdown notice posted at the site. Pizza-BOX was a long-standing takeaway pizza chain in Hong Kong. Originally launched in the 1980s as Domino’s Pizza, it was rebranded as Pizza-BOX in 2003 following the end of its franchise agreement.
