Operating results, however, showed a loss of $74.6 million, compared to $68 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2025.
Corneanu said the Northeast Corridor remains “operationally profitable,” showing an increase of $13.7 million compared to the same period a year earlier.
“There is a combination of two factors here,” Corneanu said, responding to a question from board member Ellen Clegg.
