Recently, the brand opened a dine-in cafe called Dona Manis Heritage Bakehouse, offering a modern take in contrast to the quaint charm of its original outlet at Katong Shopping Centre. It’s a must to get the Original Banana Pie ($4.50), handmade from scratch to achieve a fragrant butter crust and flaky pastry rim, packed with soft, jammy bananas and freshly grated coconut. We also tried a slice of the Chocolate Banana Pie ($4.50), which tasted noticeably more chocolatey than banana-forward.
