#9 UMD Women’s Hockey Set for 2nd Showdown with #2 Ohio StateOhio State previously swept UMD in a series back in November. DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team bounced back nicely this past weekend by picking up a shootout win plus a shutout victory over Minnesota State-Mankato. The Bulldogs will head to Columbus this upcoming Friday to take on the 2nd ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State went on to sweep UMD back in November, as they outscored the Bulldogs 7 to 2. With both teams set to have players out of the lineup due to the Olympics, head coach Laura Schuler says the tactics will still remain the same.
