Cheryl Adams, a longtime civic and business leader whose work helped shape modern-day Santa Clarita, has died following a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. At the time, the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce had grown to approximately 1,360 members, making it one of the five largest chambers in Los Angeles County. “Many of the organizations and businesses were duplicating their work,” Adams told the Times.
