MITCHELL — Briar Cliff was the last team to beat the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball team at the Corn Palace.
19 Briar Cliff 70-61 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference matchup.
Now 18-4 overall and 14-2 in GPAC play, the win is DWU’s 12th in a row, which is currently the fifth-longest streak in NAIA women’s basketball.
The DWU basketball teams were raising funds for the Mitchell Heart and Sole Foundation, which supports local cancer patients.
