U.S. Senate candidate Alex Vindman announced he raised $1.7 million in his first official day after launching his campaign.
The retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, best known as a whistleblower from President Donald Trump’s first presidential campaign, has teased a campaign for months and officially launched his campaign Tuesday morning.
Full details on fundraising will not be available until the end of the quarter, but Vindman’s campaign said the first 24 hours saw a hefty number of donors.
His campaign touted coverage of the launch that called Vindman a “high profile” candidacy.
Meanwhile, the campaign slighted Moody as “untested” and “vulnerable” despite Florida’s rightward swing in recent years.
