The Municipality of Meaford will explore an idea to make some vacant surplus lands available for tiny home communities.
Article contentThe three parcels of “easily serviceable” lands were identified in a recently completed surplus land inventory.
Two of the parcels are about an acre-and-a-half in size, while the third is over three acres.
Keaveney said the motion was about exploring the potential for tiny homes in the municipality.
“I think it would just be incredible and amazing if Meaford was the first community in Grey County to have a tiny home development of this nature,” Keaveney said.
