A concrete spill has caused heavy congestion for Brisbane commuters this morning, with traffic backed up across several inner-city routes. Emergency services closed one northbound lane on Hale Street at Paddington around 7am after a concrete truck lost part of its load. The incident, just before the Musgrave Road exit, created a major bottleneck for motorists heading towards Kelvin Grove Road. Congestion is also affecting inbound lanes on Coronation Drive, Milton Road and Waterworks Road. Transport authorities are advising drivers to expect long delays and to proceed with caution while clean-up crews work to clear the roadway.
