Regal Homes has announced that it has secured planning permission for six family homes on land that is "ideally located" to meet the town’s growing housing needs. Regal Homes said the development uses previously developed land and avoids building on green spaces, as Eastleigh faces a growing demand for homes. Although some residents hoped the site might remain as open land and there had been discussion around higher-density options such as flats or HMO’s, Regal Homes said this scheme offers "a far better outcome for the community."
