Century Aluminum To Construct First US Aluminum Plant In More Than 40 Years

The Inola plant will create 1,000 permanent direct jobs at the facility and 4,000 jobs during construction,” Century stated. Once construction is completed, the Inola plant will be the largest ever primary aluminum production plant in the United States. Jesse Gary, CEO of Century Aluminum, said that key industries such as aerospace, automotive, construction, and national defense stand to benefit “greatly” from the venture.
