AIR7 flew over the scene, where heavy flames and smoke were seen rising from P &T Metals at 2215 N. Tyler Ave. near Klingerman Street. A shelter-in-place order was issued for people living and working nearby as crews monitored air and water runoff conditions. Neighbors were asked to keep all windows and doors closed and shut off all heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Video shows a massive plume of black smoke rising into the air in the neighborhood.
