Daniel Christopher Preiss, 28, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on January 20, 2026. Born on October 12, 1997, he was the beloved son of Daniel E. Preiss and Rita D. Preiss. Daniel was a dedicated individual who loved his family with all of his heart, and he had deep beliefs in his Catholic faith. Daniel is survived by his parents, Daniel and Rita; his brothers, Vinny and Nicholas Preiss; his maternal grandmother, Rita DiDomenico; his paternal grandfather, Theodore Preiss; as well as aunts and uncles, Ted Preiss, Michael Preiss (Michelle), Rosemary McKinnon (Doug) and Ralph DiDomenico (Mary); cousins, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
