Rogers has announced that its satellite-to-mobile service is now included at no additional cost for customers in Atlantic Canada on 5G+ plans, available for up to 24 months. The Rogers Satellite service is also being offered as a standalone option for any Canadian, regardless of their current mobile provider, for a monthly fee of $15. In Atlantic Canada, high-usage areas for the satellite service currently include coastal regions outside of St. John’s, Fundy National Park, and highways near the Minas Basin, says Rogers. Rogers first launched its satellite-to-mobile service in December, becoming the first wireless provider in Canada to leverage Starlink Direct to Cell. As for everyone else, plans from $75/month get 12 months of free Rogers Satellite and plans at $95 get 24 months free.
