CLEVELAND, Ohio — Downtown Cleveland welcomed curling enthusiasts back to Public Square on Wednesday evening as the Mayfield Curling Club led a free winter recreation event at the Cleveland Foundation Ice Skating Rink. The event comes just ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, which begin Feb. 6. Those who missed the latest curling session can participate on Wednesday, February 4, from 6-8 p.m. Downtown Cleveland, Inc. organized the event and said no prior experience or equipment is necessary. Hot coffee and fresh treats from You Enjoy My Donuts were available to help attendees warm up between turns on the ice.
