CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Monsters defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins 4-1 on Wednesday night at Van Andel Arena. Corson Ceulemans opened the scoring for Cleveland at 10:05 of the first period with assists from Luca Del Bel Belluz and James Malatesta. Grand Rapids’ Eduards Tralmaks tied the game at 18:30, sending the teams to the first intermission knotted at 1-1. Owen Sillinger extended Cleveland’s advantage to 3-1 on the power play at 3:31 of the third period with helpers from Luca Marrelli and Del Bel Belluz. Cleveland goaltender Ivan Fedotov stopped 19 shots for the win, while Grand Rapids’ Sebastian Cossa made 39 saves in the loss.
