From MERCY HEALTHAs Mercy Health continues to evolve to better meet the needs of its patients and community, it is pleased to announce the region’s first mobile mammography unit has visits scheduled throughout the region. The mobile mammography unit is customized for patient convenience and will deliver 3D mammograms to those with breasts age 40 and older. If someone is uninsured or underinsured, meaning they have high deductibles, Mercy Health has financial need-based assistance programs available to help. Screenings at the Mercy Health Mobile Mammography unit are by appointment only. It is encouraged for people to talk with their doctors about when they should have a screening mammogram.
