Through this initiative of the Bolivarian Government, more than one million six hundred thousand people have returned to the country since 2018. At least 273 migrants returned to Venezuela this Wednesday, January 28, from Arizona (U.S.), as part of the Return to the Homeland Plan promoted by the Bolivarian Government. The repatriation flights reflect “the constant search for peace and stability in the South American nation,” amidst a difficult context marked by deportation policies and persecution of migrants. Authorities reported that the U.S.-registered aircraft followed “rigorous safety protocols and received full accompaniment” during its journey. Through this initiative promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, more than 1.6 million people have returned to the country since 2018.
