Kimberly Renee Howell Simpson, 62, of Dawson Springs, died at 2:10 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, at her residence. Services will be held at a later date. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is assisting with the arrangements. A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born January 26, 1964, the daughter of Donnie Gerald Howell and Sandra Rose Boguskie Howell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Howard Simpson, Jr, and her father, Donnie Gerald Howell, and her brother, John Michael Howell, and her sister, Lisa Dawn Howell.
