The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has issued a bushfire warning for residents in Ellenbrook. If safe to do so, residents are urged to leave now in a southerly direction. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully, while some roads may be closed. An evacuation centre has been set up at the Sikh Gurdwara on 10 Cheltenham Street in Bennett Springs.
