NJTransit identified the man who was struck and killed by a southbound train near New Brunswick Station on Friday as Adan Abreu-Mora.
A southbound train struck and killed a man while he was trespassing near New Brunswick Station at 7:40 p.m. on Friday.
On Tuesday, officials identified the victim as 35-year-old New Brunswick resident Adan Abreu-Mora, according to NJ Advance Media.
Abreu-Mora's death was the first of two fatal NJTransit train strikes in New Jersey this week.
On Monday, Anthony A. Lewis of Plainfield was struck by a westbound Raritan Valley train in the vicinity of Plainfield station.
