In a first for the state, global powerhouse streamer Netflix has chosen Western Australia as the location for its new surfing drama Breakers, starring The Boys’ Antony Starr.
Credit: The WestGlobal streaming powerhouse Netflix has chosen Western Australia as the location for its new TV drama, Breakers, which began filming in the State’s South West this week.
It is being made in partnership with BBC Studios Productions and will star The Boys’ Antony Starr as a man who presides over a community of surfers.
“Screenwest is delighted to welcome Netflix to Western Australia for the first time,” Screenwest chief executive officer Rikki Lea Bestall said.
