Mercedes-Benz has previewed the second model in its ultra-exclusive Mythos Series, releasing images of a camouflaged vehicle – which could be V8-powered – based on the CLE coupe. The latest images show a camouflaged version of what the automaker calls an “extreme new model” for the Mythos Series, testing in wintry conditions in Sweden. Timing for the new Mythos Series model hasn’t been shared, nor have details such as pricing, equipment levels or its powertrain, with the automaker’s media statement simply saying it’s “on the horizon”. The German luxury brand announced its Mythos Series sub-brand in May 2022, part of a push to focus on more expensive and more profitable vehicles. Mythos Series vehicles will be available only via factory order through Mercedes-AMG headquarters in Affalterbach, Germany.
