Broome is set to come together once again for a weekend of connection, awareness and support as Spoke To A Bloke gears up for its extended Walk For A Bloke Weekend event in March.
The annual Walk For A Bloke encourages men across Broome to come out and walk 25km over the course of a day to support their own and other men’s mental health.
The main Walk For A Bloke event will be on March 21, with new multiple walking distance options to ensure everyone can take part no matter their fitness level.
The organisation has also restarted its weekly walks this year from Cable Beach Surf Club on Sundays at 6.30am to help support men’s mental health outside of the annual events.
“The continued backing from community partners like the Broome Bowling Club and Broome RSL shows how strongly Broome stands behind mental health and community wellbeing.”Registrations are now open on the Walk for a Bloke website.
