Nestlé has announced it is working with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Goodwall in its global operations in a bid to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture and encourage young people to enter farming.
Nestlé Chief Operating Officer, Stephanie Hart, says Nestlé aims to further progress the push to regenerative agriculture through the partnership.
“Regenerative agriculture is essential to the long-term resilience of our business and the global food system,” says Hart.
“We are delighted to continue collaborating with Nestlé, a company that shares our commitment for a more resilient food system,” says TNC CEO Jennifer Morris.
“Together, we can scale practical, science-based solutions that restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity, and strengthen farmer livelihoods.”As part of its partnership with global youth learning platform Goodwall, Nestlé will help Goodwall build its agriculture curriculum.
