Nearly 30 years ago, on October 24th, 1996, Core Design forever changed the gaming world when they released the third-person action-adventure game Tomb Raider, starring the instantly iconic Lara Croft. To celebrate Croft's 30th anniversary, Crystal Dynamics, the current overseeing developer of the Tomb Raider franchise, has officially kicked off 30th anniversary celebrations for the archaeological-centric franchise. Tomb Raider's 30th Anniversary Collaborations ExplainedCrystal Dynamics will partner up with over 10 companies and product lines to release Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary products throughout 2026 including:8BitDoAspyrBlend Cota StudiosDark Horse ComicsFiGGYZFulllifeFunkoGUNNAR OptiksIconiq StudiosLoungeflyShark RobotSyntilayTomb Raider Gear StoreTubbzUpper DeckMany of these collabs will result in Tomb Raider 30th anniversary-themed apparel and decor, but a few products are more unique, such as a 30th Anniversary Lara Croft rubber duck from Tubbz and a new board game called Tomb Raider: The Crypt of Chronos from Iconiq Studios. 8BitDo's products haven't yet been revealed, though it's likely they'll release a Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary-themed controller or keyboard later this year similar to the one they made for Rare's 40th anniversary in 2025.
