BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help as they search for a missing 15-year-old boy who disappeared Tuesday evening in the Sangaree area. On January 21, deputies responded to a report of a missing person after 15-year-old Trent Rex Townsend left his grandfather’s home in the Sangaree area around 6 p.m. to ride his bicycle and did not return home. 📣 STAY IN THE LOOP 📣📰 Sign Up for Berkeley County, SC Newsletter ⬅️Investigators say the circumstances surrounding Townsend’s disappearance are concerning. The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says it is actively working to locate the teen and is urging anyone who may have seen Townsend or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.
