Orva, a 3P authorized retail partner for footwear, apparel and equipment brands selling on Amazon, Walmart, and other direct-to-consumer channels, has hired Jason Short, former chief merchant at Famous Footwear, as SVP and general merchandising manager. Short was SVP, chief merchant at Famous Footwear from January 2007 to February 2025. “Jason brings over three decades of invaluable merchandising experience to Orva following successful tenures at major retailers including Famous Footwear and Finish Line,” said Jeff Espersen, EVP, chief merchandising officer at Orva. Espersen added, “The addition of Jason will further strengthen Orva’s position as a market-leader within the footwear industry and e-commerce. Orva said it works with over 150 partner brands, including Skechers, Under Armour, Crocs, New Balance, Brooks, Merrell, and Clarks.
