There are few things in the Treasure Valley that are as big as Boise State football. The University of Idaho's Vandals, who had a significant down year, also have a passionate football fanbase here in the Gem State. Both Idaho universities have sent players off to the professional ranks and both have representation in the Super Bowl! Demarcus Lawrence and George Holani, two Boise State football standouts, will be playing in Seattle Seahawk gear on Super Bowl Sunday--side by side! Of course these Broncos and Vandals couldn't find themselves on the same team--it seems Idaho's heated rivalry continues!
