BROWNINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Some Northeast Kingdom students on Wednesday got a special treat from some of the best in the jump rope world. The Orleans Central Supervisory Union’s new jump rope curriculum was born out of recent flooding. And the invitation of jump rope world champs Nick and Kalee Woodard to the district was just icing on the cake. The couple are founders of Learnin’ the Ropes, a nonprofit aimed at inspiring and educating kids through jump rope. And Brownington Central School students like Xander Prue have really hopped on board.
