The Manitoba Liberal Party is calling on the city of Winnipeg to review its transit system, raising concerns about accessibility for seniors and health-care workers traveling to Grace Hospital. “We’re going to see what the people are complaining about, why this route needs to be restored, and take it from there,” said Willard Reaves, leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party. “The city and the province used to split the travel transit operating costs 50/50, so I would advise the Manitoba Liberal Party to speak to the Provincial Government. Secondly, Transit provides extensive service to hospitals across the city… there are 40 busses per hour stopping either right at the front entrance or at streets around [Grace] hospital. “This is an issue that the people of Manitoba and the people in this area are complaining about.
